Team Leader - HR Recruitment

Location: Chennai

Experience: 3–5 years in recruitment / staffing industry

Reports to: Recruitment Manager / Operations Head

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Team Leader – HR Recruitment to lead a team of recruiters in delivering quality hiring closures for multiple clients across various skill sets. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in end-to-end recruitment, team handling, client coordination, and achieving monthly hiring targets in a fast-paced staffing environment.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters to achieve daily and monthly closure targets
• Handle end-to-end recruitment for clients across IT / Non-IT / BFSI / Healthcare / BPO (as applicable)
• Allocate requirements within the team and monitor daily sourcing activity
• Ensure quality screening, shortlisting, and submission of candidates within TAT
• Coordinate with clients for feedback, interviews, and offer closures
• Track team performance metrics: submissions, interviews, closures, and revenue
• Train team members on sourcing strategies, screening techniques, and job portals
• Maintain MIS reports and share daily/weekly performance reports with management
• Resolve escalations related to candidates and clients
• Ensure proper follow-ups for offer acceptance and joining
• Maintain strong database and talent pipeline for ongoing requirements

• Strong team handling and leadership skills
• Excellent knowledge of job portals, LinkedIn sourcing, and database management
• Good understanding of client requirements and recruitment lifecycle
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Excel and recruitment MIS reporting

• 2+ years of experience in recruitment/staffing consultancy
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in team handling
• Proven track record of achieving hiring targets
• Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (HR preferred)
