Role Purpose

• The role holder is responsible for driving the end-to-end integration of product development, ensuring alignment with business strategy, innovation goals, and operational efficiency.
• This role plays a crucial part in developing and executing the product roadmap, optimizing systems and processes, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve technological readiness and market success.
• This role ensures structured product development, risk management, and cross-functional alignment to enhance product reliability, cost-effectiveness, and innovation-driven differentiation.

• Product and Innovation Strategy : Ensure conduct of structured market research, ensuring roadmap alignment with business objectives.
• Systems and Process Standardization : Ensure best practices are implemented for development efficiency, ensuring process adherence.
• Collaboration and External Networks : Establish and ensure industry relationships aid product innovation and development
• Knowledge, Talent and Skill Development : Ensure conduct of internal training programs and cross-functional knowledge-sharing. Ensure implementation of structured talent development initiatives, including mentorship programs, skill enhancement workshops, and career progression frameworks,

Desired Qualification and Experience

• 12-20 years of experience in design and development, with 5+ years in product integration and proto manufacturing in compressor or industrial product development
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field
• M.E./M. Tech in Design, CAD/CAM, Thermal, Heat & Mass Transfer, Tribology, Fluid Mechanics, or Applied Mechanics.
• Proven track record in engineering leadership, project delivery, and process optimization.
• Hands-on experience with compressed air systems, fluid dynamics, and CAD/CAE tools.
• Proven expertise in industrial/process engineering and compressor manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multi-product design portfolios.
