About the Role

The incumbent in this job role will be responsible for implementing initiatives in areas including but not limited to Organization Management and System Solutions across the designated area of RIL Solar PV Business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the I&W Equipment Engineering team, overseeing all aspects of wafer manufacturing processes.
• Develop and optimize wafer fabrication processes to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to implement new technologies and process improvements.
• Monitor and analyze process data, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all wafer manufacturing processes.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve process issues and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Implement and oversee process validation and qualification activities.

Qualifications

• B.E./ B.Tech in Materials Science, Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Required Skills

• 18+ years of experience.
• 10 years of managing the full Equipment engineering team (~100 engineers and technicians) of a complex manufacturing plant.
• Highly motivated, big picture and strategic thinking.
• High potential to take up higher responsibility.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Solar PV domain.
