Job Description
As the Assistant General Manager for the Team Lead_GL&FA_GCC, you will be responsible for leading and managing the General Ledger and Financial Accounting team. You will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Principal Accountabilities
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and taxes ensuring accuracy and compliancebr Supervise the daily operations of the accounting department including month and endyear processes accounts payablereceivable cash receipts general ledger payroll utilities treasury budgeting and cash forecastingbr Conduct revenue and expenditure variance analysis capital assets reconciliations trust account statement reconciliations check runs fixed asset activity and debt activitybr Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce comprehensive financial reports or statementsbr Establish and enforce proper accounting methods policies and principles to maintain financial integritybr Coordinate and complete annual audits ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are metbr Provide recommendations for improving the organizations financial performance and implement strategies for cost savings and financial efficiencybr Oversee the operation of the companys SAP system ensuring its effective use in financial processesbr Manage and track the performance of invested assets in accordance with policies and investment guidelinesbr Liaise with other team leads to ensure alignment and timely completion of financial reportingbr Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership to ensure that business strategies are financially viablebr Provide leadership direction and management to the accounting and finance team fostering a culture of excellencebr Ensure compliance with all internal processes and legal standards keeping abreast of industry trends and changes to accounting rules and regulationsbr Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure a thorough understanding of financial processes and proceduresbr Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team contributing to strategic decisionmakingbr Engage with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintainedbr Correspond with various other departments discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken
