Key Responsibilities
- License Management
- Identify applicable licenses and permissions required for business operations across regions.
- Apply for new licenses and ensure renewal/closure of the process on time.
- Maintain a central tracker and repository of all licenses and compliance documents.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate and liaise with relevant government departments, regulatory bodies, consultants, and internal teams to gather and submit required documentation.
- Build a network of contacts across the regulatory ecosystem for efficient resolution of queries.
- Process Management & Structured Execution
- Design and implement structured processes to track, escalate, and close compliance-related tasks.
- Drive operational excellence and ensure SLAs are met in all compliance activities.
- Proactively flag risks and non-compliance issues.
- Data & Reporting
- Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze compliance data, create reports and dashboards for leadership review.
- Manage all related documents and create physical and digital repositories for the same
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with the Legal, Operations, Finance, and HR teams to ensure coordinated compliance across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Law, CS, Public Policy, or related fields). MBA/LLB is a plus.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in legal, compliance, regulatory affairs, or licensing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to independently handle license applications and government interactions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to extract and compile information from diverse sources.
- Structured thinking with strong attention to detail and ability to handle ambiguity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) – formulas, filtering, pivot tables, basic reporting.
- Self-driven, process-oriented and outcome-focused.
