Job Title: QA Engineer

Shift: Overlap with US Team (evening IST preferred)

About The Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Automation + Manual) with strong hands-on experience in manual testing, automation testing, API validation, and CI/CD-based quality processes.

This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of end-to-end product quality, work closely with developers and product teams, and help ensure reliable and high quality software releases in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform manual and automation testing for web applications
• Build and maintain automation scripts using:
• Selenium with Java
• Playwright with TypeScript / JavaScript
• Perform API testing using Postman / Rest Assured
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to ensure quality releases
• Support regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing
  
  

Required Skills

• 4–5 years of experience in Manual + Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Java
• Selenium
• Playwright o TypeScript / JavaScript
• Good experience in API Testing
• Hands-on with Jenkins / GitHub Actions / CI-CD pipelines
• Experience with JMeter / Performance Testing
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber
• Familiarity with Allure / Extent Reports
• Good understanding of Microservices-based applications
• Exposure to AWS / Azure cloud environments
• Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum
• Hands-on with Git / version control

• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Good understanding of test automation best practices
• Ability to identify edge cases and improve release quality
• Comfortable working in a startup / fast-paced product environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills
