Tax Advisor

• yAdvise clients on Indian direct tax and indirect tax implications arising in the course of business operations, cross-border transactions, restructurings, and day-to-day commercial arrangements
• .Analyse taxability of cross-border payments, including issues relating to withholding tax, permanent establishment, place of effective management, transfer pricing, interpretation of tax treaties, etc
• .Assist clients with tax-efficient business models, entry structures, supply chain planning, and operational tax risk management
• .Prepare legal opinions, tax memoranda, technical notes, alerts, and client updates on developments in tax law and policy

.Transaction / Deal Suppor

• tSupport domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity, venture capital, joint venture, internal reorganisation, and business transfer transactions from a tax perspective
• .Undertake vendor and buy side tax due diligence
• ;Advise on acquisition structures, divestments, slump sales, share transfers, asset transfers, mergers, demergers, and capital reduction exercises
• .Review of transaction documents from tax perspectiv
• eAssist in implementation of transaction structures, post-closing integration matters, and tax registrations / transition support where required
