The Opportunity
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for building a strong and efficient in-house recruitment function for Queen Elizabeth’s School, Gurugram. The role involves partnering with academic and non-academic stakeholders to attract, assess, and hire high-quality talent that supports the school’s growth, culture, and educational excellence, including sourcing talent from international markets.
The Role
Talent Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Build and maintain a strong in-house recruitment function, developing robust domestic and international talent pipelines.
End-to-End Recruitment Management
- Manage the complete hiring lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding across junior, mid-level, and leadership roles.
Sourcing & Headhunting
- Proactively source candidates through multiple channels and conduct targeted headhunting for niche, executive, and leadership positions.
Stakeholder and Hiring Manager Collaboration
- Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand requirements, define hiring strategies, and ensure timely and effective closures.
Candidate Assessment & Experience Management
- Screen, evaluate, and coordinate interviews while ensuring a seamless, structured, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
Offer Management & Employer Branding
- Lead offer discussions and negotiations while strengthening employer branding through career pages, job postings, and social platforms.
Recruitment Operations, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Manage ATS, track key hiring metrics (TAT, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness), and continuously optimize recruitment processes for efficiency and quality.
The Person
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources or in related field with 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including global/international hiring exposure.
- HR Certification, CIPD/SHRM would be an added advantage
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, headhunting, and hiring for niche, executive, and leadership roles.
- Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Understanding of international hiring practices, compliance, and experience in education hiring (preferred); agency experience is an added advantage.
- Proficient in ATS, job portals, and social media hiring tools; highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
