A Series A funded California based Software Development Company is Looking for:

We’re looking for…

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition + People Ops “one-person army” to own hiring operations and core HR processes in India.

This is a high-ownership role where you’ll work directly with the founder and leadership team.

What You’ll Do

  • Talent Acquisition (Primary Ownership)


Own end-to-end hiring coordination across functions (Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, etc.)

Manage job listings across platforms and ensure they stay updated and high-performing

Run targeted sourcing

Build and maintain pipelines for key roles proactively

Manage relationships with long-term sourcing partners / recruiters

Work against quarterly hiring targets

  • Onboarding & Employee Setup


Own onboarding from offer acceptance to Day 1 readiness

Coordinate:

Laptop provisioning + access setup

Health insurance enrollment

Background verification (BGV)

Compliance + documentation

Sending onboarding docs and joining instructions

Scheduling initial meetings + introductions

Ensure smooth joining experience with minimal dependency

  • Payroll & Offboarding Coordination


Act as the point of contact between compnay and Finance for:

Joining formalities impacting payroll

Offboarding documentation and final settlements

Payroll-related employee changes (role changes, exits, etc.)

  • People Ops Rituals + Reporting


Maintain basic employee KPI reporting and team tracking (attendance, performance cadence, etc.)

Ensure 1:1 cadence rituals are happening consistently for team leads and managers

Maintain systems and documentation for repeatable people operations

  • Admin & Operations Support


Own expense management workflows:

Expense card issuance and tracking

Expense reconciliation and reimbursements

Coordinate company off-sites and team events:

Scheduling and coordination with leadership

Travel and accommodation bookings

Budget tracking and reimbursements

Post-event expense closure

You’ll do well here if you are:

Experienced with fast-growth startup hiring (speed + quality + hustle)

Experienced with unconventional hiring and sourcing strategies

Extremely organized and process-driven - you like to build systems

Resourceful, dependable, and proactive (you’ll be the founder’s key POC in India)

Comfortable working with ambiguity and building structure from scratch

Strong communicator who can work smoothly with senior leaders and candidates, and can represent the compnay in hiring conversations
