Talent Acquisition Manager – US Marketplace Operations
Role Overview
The US Talent Acquisition role would entail owning global supply efforts for the company’s content and creative business. This role is responsible for building a scalable, high-quality, and compliant talent ecosystem across freelancers, contractors, and specialized creative professionals in the US market.
The role goes beyond executional hiring and focuses on supply strategy, readiness, utilization, and unit economics to support enterprise and mid-market clients in North America.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end US supply strategy across content, creative, marketing, and niche skill sets.
- Act as the single-thread owner for US talent availability, quality, cost, and scalability.
- Build forward-looking supply plans aligned with revenue forecasts and account pipelines.
- Create and maintain a strong bench of pre-vetted US freelancers and contractual talent.
- Develop category-wise supply pools (writers, editors, designers, video, strategists, etc.).
- Establish engagement models that encourage repeat usage and long-term association.
- Oversee and optimize hiring of freelancers and contractual employees based in the US.
- Ensure fast turnaround on client requirements without compromising quality.
- Partner with delivery and account teams to ensure right-fit deployment and quick backfills.
- Own US talent economics including rate benchmarking, cost controls, and utilization efficiency.
- Balance premium US talent costs with margin expectations and client budgets.
- Track and improve quality outcomes, client satisfaction, and repeat engagement rates.
- Ensure all US talent engagements are compliant with local labor laws, contractor classification norms, and internal policies.
- Work closely with Legal and Finance on contracts, onboarding, and audits.
- Proactively identify and mitigate compliance and operational risks.
- Lead and mentor recruiters (directly or via dotted-line).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably hiring freelancers, creators, or content talent
- Hands-on experience managing US or global hiring across freelance and full-time roles
- Strong understanding of Creator Acquisition and Talent Management
- Experience hiring across US, UK, APAC, or EMEA markets is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple roles and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and candidate experience skills
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze hiring trends and optimize processes
- Genuine interest in the creator economy, content operations, and scaling high-quality talent networks
Please note: This is on-site role based in Mumbai (Marol) at US shift, 3:00pm - 12:00am.
