Details: Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Talend Developer with strong data integration and ETL development skills to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Talend (Open Studio / Talend Cloud / Talend Data Integration) and working knowledge of Snowflake as the cloud data warehouse platform. Exposure to SAP BW or SAP HANA data structures and integration concepts is preferred. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes that enable efficient data movement, transformation, and loading across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Talend Data Integration and related components. Integrate data from diverse sources such as databases, flat files, APIs, and SAP systems. Develop and optimize data ingestion and transformation workflows for Snowflake. Collaborate with Data Architects and Analysts to define data mapping, transformation logic, and performance standards. Implement error handling, logging, and performance tuning in ETL workflows. Work with Snowflake for schema design, data modelling, and performance tuning. Understand and leverage SAP BW/HANA extractors, tables, and data models to support integration needs. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment processes following best practices. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across ETL processes. Support production environments and resolve data pipeline issues proactively. Required Skills & Experience Total Experience: 7+ years in IT / Data Integration / Data Engineering. Talend Experience: 4+ years hands-on experience with Talend Open Studio / Talend Cloud / Talend Data Fabric. Strong experience building and managing ETL pipelines for large-scale data integration. Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.). Good understanding of Snowflake architecture, data loading, and query optimization. Basic understanding of SAP BW and SAP HANA data models, tables, and integration mechanisms. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data integration. Strong debugging, performance tuning, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Educational Qualification Bachelor"s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Talend or Snowflake certifications are an added advantage.
