Job Description
Responsibilities Assist in understanding process and system requirements to develop hardware engineering deliverables. Design and Engineer System, Marshalling, and Relay Panels. Prepare And Validate General Arrangement (GA) and Internal Arrangement (IA) drawings Heat load calculations for panel sizing and ventilation I/O assignment, ICS, FG Grouping, loop templates, Cable schedules, termination details, and grounding layouts and etc Generate system architecture and hardware layout drawings. Ensure all design inputs, tools, and documentation are in place before execution. Deliver hardware solutions that meet project standards, quality, and cost targets. Conduct site surveys to assess existing hardware infrastructure and plan upgrades. Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Support installation and commissioning of control system hardware at site. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for panel fabrication and field wiring. Identify and implement improvements in hardware design and execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution. Experience in control system hardware design including DCS, PLC, and Safety Systems. Familiarity with field instrumentation wiring, junction boxes, cable trays, and enclosures. Hands-on experience in panel engineering and field integration. Proficiency in preparing GA/IA drawings, heat load calculations, grounding schemes, and loop documentation. Understanding of electrical systems and grounding practices in industrial environments. Exposure to legacy system upgrades and R&M project environments. Experience with site commissioning and troubleshooting of hardware systems. Experience in Power Generation projects, preferably NTPC or similar thermal power plants. Familiarity with Honeywell Experion PKS or equivalent control platforms is a plus. Qualifications Bachelor?s Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in control system hardware engineering, preferably in the Power domain.
