Job Description

Role Overview Join the ICCC team supporting smart building and critical facility operations. You?ll assist in maintaining IT infrastructure, monitoring systems, and ensuring smooth day- to-day operations. This is a hands-on role with exposure to virtualization, system administration, and facility-grade technologies. Key Responsibilities ? Assist in managing virtual machines (KVM/libvirt) on Ubuntu systems ? Support basic Linux administration (Ubuntu/Rocky Linux) ? user management, updates, services ? Help maintain Windows Server 2022 ? Active Directory, user policies, basic PowerShell scripts ? Learn and support storage systems (LVM), databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB), and messaging queues (RabbitMQ) ? Work with network tools ? HAProxy/Nginx, basic firewall rules (iptables/nftables) ? Participate in backup routines and recovery tasks (SAN/NAS, Commvault) ? Monitor server health and perform basic hardware checks (HPE/Hitachi) ? Use tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, or Check_MK for system alerts ? Write simple automation scripts in Bash or Python ? Coordinate with vendors for hardware support and issue resolution Qualifications & Skills ? B.E./B.Tech in CS, IT, Electrical, or Electronics ? ~1 year of experience in system administration or IT support? Basic understanding of virtualization, Linux/Windows systems, and networking ? Willingness to learn and work in a 24x7 operational environment ? Good documentation and troubleshooting habits Preferred Exposure ? Any exposure to smart buildings BMS , IoT systems, or facility-grade IT setups ? Familiarity with Linix/Ubuntu 24.04 features like cloud-init and Netplan is a plus
