Job Description

Location: Ahmedabad Experience: 1 ? 3 yrs Job Description ? Roles & Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers (physical and virtual environments). Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File/Print Servers, and Group Policies. Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox. Monitor system and network performance, ensuring uptime, reliability, and optimization. Apply OS updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system integrity. Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues and coordinate with ISPs for link management. Maintain IT hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and peripherals. Handle asset management, hardware procurement, and vendor coordination for AMC or warranty claims. Provide Level 2/3 technical support, resolving escalated tickets efficiently. Assist helpdesk teams and ensure timely resolution of end-user issues. Manage user onboarding/offboarding, system access, and device setup. Implement and maintain endpoint protection, antivirus, and patch compliance. Configure and monitor firewall rules, VPN security, and intrusion alerts. Support IT security audits, enforce access policies, and ensure compliance with standards. Technical Skills Required: OS: Windows Server, Window 10,11, Linux Hardware: Desktop/Laptop troubleshooting, server hardware, UPS, switches, racks Network: TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, VPN, Wi-Fi management Tools: AD, VMware/Hyper-V, Office 365, Backup tools, Antivirus console, Monitoring tools Scripting: PowerShell, Bash Documentation: IT asset & incident tracking tools Preferred Qualifications / Experience : Bachelor?s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Diploma in Hardware & Networking or Systems Administration (preferred for experienced candidates). Relevant professional certifications such as: Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) / MCSE Readiness for service commitment
