Job Description
The System Engineer is responsible for: 1.??????Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise backup solutions. 2.??????Handle L2 escalations from the L1 support team. 3.??????Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations. 4.??????Troubleshoot backup failures and performance issues. 5.??????Ensure daily backup job success and validation. 6.??????Perform data restoration requests (files, databases, VMs). 7.??????Monitor backup storage utilization and capacity planning. 8.??????Implement and maintain backup policies, schedules, and retention. 9.??????Support DR drills and business continuity planning. 10.???Patch and upgrade backup infrastructure. 11.???Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards. 12.???Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and runbooks. 13.??? Coordinate with L3 team for complex issues . Eligibility ???????Any technical graduate ???????Good communication skills ???????Flexibility to work in shifts Required Skill Set ??????? Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication ??????? Experience with: v?Virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper-V v?Storage systems: SAN and NAS ? ??????? Knowledge of: v?Tape libraries & disk-based backup v?Windows OS v?RPO/RTO and DR concepts v?Basic PowerShell scripting is a plus ? Beneficial Skill Set ???????MSP Experience ???????Experience with multiple backup tools
