System Administrator (Google Cloud/GCP) ? IMS & ESG Compliance Platform

About the Role: We are HIRING NOW for a specialized System Administrator to lead the infrastructure implementation of a critical Integrated Management System (IMS) and ESG Compliance Platform. This is not a standard "keep the lights on" SysAdmin role. You will be architecting, deploying, and securing the GCP foundation that hosts sensitive regulatory data, audit trails, and sustainability metrics. Your work will directly enable organizations to meet rigorous global standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, GDPR) and ESG reporting requirements. We need a GCP expert with a security-first mindset who understands that in the world of compliance, infrastructure is the product. Key Responsibilities: ?* Architect & Deploy: Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is mandatory). ?* Security & Governance (Crucial) : Implement rigorous IAM roles, VPC Service Controls, Organization Policies, and Encryption keys (CMEK/Cloud HSM) to meet strict compliance mandates. ?* Compliance Alignment : Work closely with compliance officers to translate IMS/ESG requirements (audit logging, data residency, access controls) into technical implementations on GCP. ?* Operational Excellence : Manage GKE clusters, Compute Engine instances, and Cloud SQL/managed databases. ?* Observability : Configure deep monitoring, alerting, and centralized logging (Cloud Operations/Stackdriver) to ensure complete auditability of the platform. ?* CI/CD & Automation : Build secure CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitLab CI, etc.) for infrastructure and application deployment. Must-Have Qualifications: ?* 4+ years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or Cloud Engineer in a production environment. ?* Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Specifically IAM, VPC networking (Shared VPC, Firewalls), Compute Engine, GKE, and Cloud Storage security. ?* Infrastructure as Code Master: Proven expertise with Terraform in a collaborative environment. ?* Strong background in Linux administration and scripting (Bash/Python). ?* Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar). Preferred Qualifications: ?* Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Cloud Security Engineer certification. ?* Prior experience deploying platforms that handle ESG data or GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) functions. ?* Experience with BigQuery and secure data ingestion pipelines (a plus for the ESG reporting side).
