Job Description

We are looking for hardworking SWQA Triage Engineer to join the Automotive QA group.

This position will be part of a dynamic crew that test, measure and maintains the performance and quality of complex heterogeneous computing systems that power state of the art automotive products used in self-driving cars. We are looking for a SWQA Triage Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure self-driving car SW/HW stack meet high standards of quality. As a member of this core team, you will be working with highly competitive and motivated engineers. This role will also require to frequently get along with Dev module leads & cross matrix architects. Join us at forefront of this ground-breaking autonomous vehicle revolution.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve issues across the full autonomous stack (perception → planning → control)
  • Debug failures in real-time systems involving sensors, compute platforms, and AI models to relate with Autonomous Vehicle SW stack/components.
  • Work with large-scale datasets (sensor logs, simulation outputs). Use data analysis tools to identify patterns and failure trends
  • Measure, track and follow to improve the performance of SW stack, components and E2E (Deep Neural Networks) DNN algorithms from self-driving cars complex SW architecture.
  • Participate in review and provide feedback on product feature requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. Improve system robustness through continuous feedback
  • Develop debugging tools, scripts, and dashboards. Automate log analysis and anomaly detection.
  • Improve observability (metrics, tracing, monitoring)

Qualifications

  • B.Tech. or Equivalent degree in CS/CE/Robotics/ECE/EEE
  • At least 3+ year’s hands on testing & debugging experience in in the autonomous field, or computer vision related projects
  • Understanding of:
    • Perception systems (Computer Vision, Sensor fusion)
    • Planning and control pipelines
  • Good Knowledge of Python scripting language is mandatory – able to write logical scripts/code from scratch.
  • Good experience in ADAS verification and validation of Scenarios using Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-Loop (SIL) Simulation setup.
  • Experience with Linux and/or QNX is required. Another embedded OS experience is helpful.
  • Hands on experience of functional safety standards (ISO 26262), particularly in Autonomous systems.
