Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Manager (SCM)

The Manager - SCM is responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring uninterrupted material availability, optimized inventory levels, cost efficiency, and strong supplier performance to support manufacturing and business Plan, execute, and control end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory management.

  • Ensure timely availability of raw materials, bought-out parts, and consumables in line with production plans.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Drive inventory optimization, reduction of excess & obsolete stock, and working capital improvement.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams for smooth operations and new project launches.
  • Lead demand planning, MRP, and scheduling activities using ERP/SAP systems.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and internal SCM processes.
  • Manage logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation plans for continuity.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of automotive supply chain operations and vendor management.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP, MRP, and inventory planning tools.
  • Good understanding of IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP requirements.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
