Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Supply Chain Analyst, and the position is located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. Our sourcing vertical focuses on steel and allied raw materials , and we are now expanding our team with a Supply Chain Analyst ? Steel , to strengthen procurement, supplier management, and client coordination within the fast-evolving industrial ecosystem. As a Supply Chain Analyst ? Steel , you?ll manage the operational and commercial flow of raw materials such as billet, sponge iron, and scrap for our SME and mid-market customers. You will work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and clients to ensure smooth execution of sourcing operations , data-backed procurement decisions , and transparent coordination across the value chain . This is a foundational role for someone eager to grow into a category lead within the steel and metals supply ecosystem. ?What You?ll Be Doing Manage end-to-end procurement operations for assigned steel categories ? billet, sponge iron, and scrap. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers , ensuring compliance with Xecute?s sourcing and quality standards. Coordinate directly with clients to understand demand forecasts, specifications, and delivery schedules. Work with logistics, finance, and risk teams to ensure smooth execution of orders. Maintain detailed records of POs, contracts, and supplier performance metrics. Support AI-based sourcing analytics and cost optimization initiatives . What You?ll Need: Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management (MBA preferred but not required). 1?2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or B2B sourcing , preferably in metals or raw materials . Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and client coordination abilities. Proficiency in Excel, dashboards, and ERP/CRM tools . A proactive, analytical mindset and readiness to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment . Prior exposure to steel trading, procurement, or manufacturing is a plus.
