Job Description

MANDATORY KNOWLEDGE OF :-

Yard Operations handling at any port / CHP - URGENT
Knowledge in Documentation
Equipment Use Operation
Knowledge of SAP
Proper loading of rakes to minimize idle freight and punitive charges. Proper utilization of dumpers and equipments to minimize cost/mt for shifting as well as equipment usage.
Proper planning at yard in co-ordination with rake planning to minimise stoppages during vessel discharging.
Prevention of incurring demurrage for rakes
Preventing mixing up of different grades of cargo of same/different customer.
Responsible for GDR GLR wrt Conditions of Contract
Finalising Stack yard management plan and plan of cargo evacuation from mechanized plot to achieve set target by management as per the direction.
Minimize Rake Demurrage and Dead freight
Initiate meetings with OM relating to equipment status prior loading/discharging ops.
Reconciliation of stacks at Dhamra of various customer on regular basis
Cost control and prevention of any financial losses arising out of cargo contamination mix up
Processing of bills, raising PR as per the requirement of services, goods, follow up payment process for the vendors, etc.
Enrich with the updated technological improvements in the field of yard management
