Structural Engineer

Unified Talent Group is supporting the search for a Structural Engineer in Cincinnati OH to support design and engineering efforts within an industry leading manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for designing structural systems, performing analysis, and supporting project execution from concept through completion.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal design teams to develop engineering solutions, ensure code compliance, and support the successful delivery of structural projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs and perform engineering analysis for various projects
• Collaborate with design teams to gather project requirements and support project planning
• Create and analyze 2D/3D models using structural analysis tools
• Perform structural calculations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Prepare and review calculation packages and technical drawings for accuracy
• Support foundation and anchor design as needed
• Utilize engineering software to prepare design documentation and models
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input throughout the design process
• Conduct occasional site visits to ensure alignment with design specifications and standards

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of structural and civil engineering principles
• Experience with structural analysis tools
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with engineering codes and standards
• Ability to perform structural calculations and interpret technical drawings

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in structural or civil engineering
• Experience supporting projects in manufacturing environments preferred
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
