Structural Engineer (Bridge)

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer - Bridges to lead the planning, analysis, and design of bridge and structural infrastructure projects. The role involves managing end-to-end bridge design deliverables, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with IRC/IS/MoRTH standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering
• Lead structural analysis and design of:
• Minor & Major Bridges
• ROBs / RUBs
• Flyovers & Interchanges
• PSC / Steel / Composite Bridges
• Design of superstructure systems:
• PSC I-Girder / Box Girder
• Balanced Cantilever
• Steel Composite Systems
• Design of substructures:
• Piers, abutments, foundations
• Pile / Well / Open foundations
• Construction stage analysis, where required
• Seismic, wind, and moving load analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Master’s in Structural / Bridge Engineering (Preferred)
• Experience: 2 to 7 Years in Structural Bridge Design
• Working knowledge of MIDAS CIVIL, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, CSI Bridges or equivalent
• Experience in DPR / Detailed Design / Proof Checking preferred
• Strong expertise in bridge structural systems
• Proficiency in structural analysis software
• Experience in PSC & Steel bridge design
• Knowledge of construction methodologies
• Ability to mentor junior engineers
• Ensure compliance with:
• IRC Codes (IRC:6, 21, 24, 78, 112, etc.)
• IS Codes
• MoRTH Specifications
• Review load combinations, design assumptions & safety factors
