We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen and will mentor junior team members while driving AI initiatives from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of scalable Machine Learning and NLP solutions for enterprise applications.
Architect end-to-end AI systems from data collection to production deployment.
Develop advanced deep learning models for NLP, LLM-based applications, predictive analytics, recommendation systems, or computer vision.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend appropriate solutions.
Build and optimize production-grade ML pipelines and MLOps workflows.
Lead experimentation, model validation, hyperparameter optimization, and performance monitoring.
Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists and machine learning engineers.
Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for model development and deployment.
Drive technical discussions, solution architecture, and AI strategy.
Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability of deployed AI systems.
Participate in client discussions, technical presentations, and solution workshops when required.

Required Skills

Expert-level Python programming.
Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP.
Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, and NLTK.
Experience deploying large-scale AI solutions into production.
Strong knowledge of LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
Expertise in statistics, probability, optimization, and machine learning algorithms.
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and distributed data processing.
Strong understanding of CI/CD, MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with Git, Linux, and Bash scripting.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
10+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI.
Experience leading AI projects and mentoring technical teams.
Proven track record of deploying production-scale AI systems.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models, and Agentic AI frameworks.
Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, or Milvus.
Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks such as Spark.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
