JOB POSITION

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for a Senior Associate Procurement will support day‑to‑day procurement operations by executing sourcing requests, managing vendor interactions, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and supporting stakeholders across functions.
• The role focuses on operational execution, coordination, and data accuracy, while contributing to cost, service, and compliance objectives under the guidance of procurement leads.
  
  

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Procurement Operations

• Execute procurement activities including RFQs/RFPs, bid comparisons, negotiations support, and PO processing.
• Support end‑to‑end PR to PO lifecycle management, ensuring timely closure in line with defined SLAs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate requirements, approvals, and documentation.
  
  

Vendor Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for operational vendor interactions related to pricing, documentation, and delivery timelines.
• Support vendor onboarding activities including documentation collection, system setup, and coordination with finance and compliance teams.
• Track supplier performance metrics and flag delivery, quality, or service issues to procurement leads.
  
  

Cost & Compliance

• Assist in identifying cost optimization opportunities through data analysis and competitive sourcing.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, audit requirements, and contract terms.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation including POs, contracts, SOWs, and approval records.
  
  

Stakeholder Support

• Work closely with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, legal, HR, IT) to support sourcing requirements.
• Provide timely updates on procurement status, risks, and dependencies.
• Resolve routine procurement queries and escalate issues as required.
  
  

Data & Reporting

• Maintain procurement trackers, vendor databases, and sourcing logs.
• Support preparation of MIS reports, spend analysis, and dashboards for internal and leadership review.
• Ensure accurate and timely data updates in ERP and procurement systems.
  
  

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  
  

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in procurement or sourcing roles.
• Experience in corporate procurement, shared services, or category‑specific procurement preferred.
  
  

Skills And Competencies

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of procurement processes, sourcing, and vendor coordination.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP / procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (comparative analysis, trackers, basic analytics).
• Working knowledge of contracts, SLAs, and basic commercial terms.
