Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Store and Spares Manager (Rolling Mill), located in Ranchi. The Store and Spares Manager will oversee the inventory management of spares and materials for the rolling mill operations, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely replenishments. Key responsibilities include managing procurement processes, coordinating with vendors, overseeing storage practices to maintain quality and usability, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The role also involves preparing inventory reports, supervising a team to ensure efficiency, and collaborating with maintenance teams to meet production needs.


Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to liaise effectively with vendors and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Organization Skills and Training to manage inventory processes and guide team members.
  • Strong knowledge of Retail Sales processes and ability to optimize procurement and inventory practices.
  • Capability to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and reporting tools is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the steel manufacturing or industrial sector, is a plus.
  • Possessing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
