Storage Test & Validation Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Storage Test & Validation Engineer to lead and execute testing strategies for advanced storage technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux and storage systems, with hands-on experience in SAN, NAS, and DAS environments. This role requires strong expertise in storage protocols, performance benchmarking, and the ability to guide a technical team through complex test solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and develop test strategies, test cases, and test scripts from functional requirements using industry-standard techniques and processes. Perform comprehensive testing and validation of storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and DAS. Deep technical understanding of storage protocols such as NVMe, SAS, and SATA, with a preference for NVMe. Conduct performance benchmarking using tools like FIO, SPDK, I/O Meter, and similar utilities. Analyze single-core and multi-core performance metrics, including latency, throughput, and IOPS. Lead technical discussions and guide the team on test solutions, storage performance benchmarks, and validation methodologies. Continuously review and enhance testing processes to ensure optimal storage performance and reliability. Desired Skills Strong experience with Linux and storage technologies. Hands-on exposure to SAN, NAS, and DAS storage systems. Expertise in storage protocols (NVMe preferred) and performance benchmarking. Proficiency in benchmarking tools such as FIO, SPDK, I/O Meter. Deep understanding of latency, throughput, IOPS, and other performance testing parameters. Proven ability to technically lead a team and mentor junior engineers. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field (Master's preferred). 8+ years of industry experience with a focus on storage testing and validation.
