Storage Engineer

Role Description The Storage Engineer will design, implement, and manage enterprise storage systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. This full-time role is based in New Delhi and follows a hybrid work model, combining on-site responsibilities with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day tasks include configuring storage arrays, monitoring capacity and performance, managing backups and replication, and resolving storage-related incidents. The role also involves collaborating with infrastructure, network, and security teams to integrate storage solutions into overall architecture, documenting configurations and standards, and assisting in storage technology evaluations and upgrades. The Storage Engineer will follow best practices for data protection, disaster recovery, and compliance while providing technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Storage Management and general Storage administration for enterprise environments.
• Candidates should possess the ability to design and implement Storage Solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and data protection.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Troubleshooting storage issues and optimizing system performance.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Replication technologies and backup strategies for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Experience with SAN/NAS systems, RAID configurations, and storage provisioning in virtualized or cloud environments is beneficial.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, scripting for automation, and basic networking concepts related to storage is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document processes and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Candidate must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Enterprise Storage systems (i.e. Netapp and Lenovo)
