Role Description The Staff Nurse role at Shri Venkateshwara University is a full-time, on-site position based in Gajraula. The Staff Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role involves collaborating with physicians, faculty, and other healthcare professionals to support patient treatment plans and ensure safe clinical practices. The Staff Nurse will educate patients and families on health, hygiene, and treatment protocols, and help maintain infection control and safety standards. Qualifications
  • Relevant nursing qualification (e.g., GNM, B.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized institution and valid registration with the appropriate nursing council.
  • Clinical nursing skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and documentation of care.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and basic emergency and critical care procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Ability to follow clinical guidelines, adapt to busy hospital or clinical settings, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills for handling electronic medical records and hospital information systems.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or academic healthcare setting is an advantage.
