General Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Audio Test & Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Audio feature validation, automation framework development, and complex test infrastructure management. The role requires deep hands-on experience in audio pipelines, voice technologies, wireless audio, and performance KPI validation.

Key Responsibilities

Multimedia Audio Testing & Automation

• Validate end to end audio workflows including functional, performance, stability, and stress testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for Multimedia Audio features
• Automate audio use cases across device, framework, HAL, DSP, and kernel layers Audio Feature Coverage
  
  
  

Responsible for validation and automation of the following Audio and Voice features:

• Audio Encode & Audio Decode
• Bluetooth Audio (Classic Bluetooth profiles) / BLE Bluetooth Audio
• Voice Call Features: 2G, 3G, VoLTE, VoNR, VoIP
• Voice Assistants / Voice UI / Voice AI / ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) / TTS (Text to Speech)
  
  
  

Performance, Functional & Stability Validation

• Define and validate Audio Performance KPIs including latency, jitter, throughput, quality, power, and reliability
• Execute functional testing to ensure feature correctness across scenarios
• Perform stability, soak, endurance, and stress testing for long run audio use cases
• Analyze regressions and performance deviations across builds and SKUs
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
  
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ year of work experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans, and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
