SSRS / SSAS Tabular Reporting Developer

We are open for Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking an experienced contractor to join our Data & Analytics team, focused on building and refactoring SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports. The reports connect to an SSAS Tabular Model using DAX queries, making that experience absolutely critical. The Tabular Model sources data from Snowflake, so Snowflake knowledge is preferred, though strong SQL skills are required. This role is essential as we migrate existing reports that previously used T-SQL stored procedures to now leverage SSAS Tabular models. The contractor will work closely with our team to ensure accurate, performant, and user-friendly reporting solutions. Responsibilities ? Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports against an SSAS Tabular Model using DAX queries. ? Refactor existing SSRS reports currently pointing to T-SQL stored procedures into SSAS Tabular?based reports. ? Implement and configure report parameters for dynamic filtering and user-driven customization. ? Create and manage standard and data-driven SSRS subscriptions. ? Optimize queries and reports for performance and scalability. ? Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to validate data accuracy and reporting logic. ? Document report logic, structures, and processes for ongoing support. Required Qualifications ? Strong experience developing reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). ? Hands-on expertise with SSAS Tabular Models and writing DAX queries. ? Proficiency in SQL/T-SQL, including stored procedure development. ? Experience configuring and troubleshooting SSRS report parameters. ? Experience creating and managing normal and data-driven SSRS subscriptions. Preferred Qualifications ? Experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouses. ? Background in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. ? Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
