Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Report Writer with strong expertise in SQL Server, Power BI, and SSRS to design, develop, and maintain business reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into insightful data visualizations and reports. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL Server, Power BI, and SSRS. Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements. Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to extract and transform data. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports. Optimize existing reports and queries for better performance and maintainability. Support data validation, troubleshooting, and ad-hoc reporting requests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data sources and reporting logic. Required Skills & Qualifications: Excellent communication skills require. 2?4 years of experience in report development and data analytics. Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, views, performance tuning). Hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, report publishing, and dashboards). Expertise in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) for building and maintaining paginated reports. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Good to Have (Optional): Experience with SSIS or ETL processes. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts. Exposure to cloud reporting platforms (e.g., Azure).
