Role Description: We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Sr/Lead Developer to design and deliver robust backend solutions using Java, AWS, and API engineering, with exposure to Generative AI. The role involves building secure, scalable, and high-performing services while integrating AI-driven capabilities into enterprise applications. The role includes designing, implementing and maintaining cloud-based solutions using cutting age technologies. Job Description: ?Design and develop microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Java (Spring Boot). ?Implement cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, IAM, S3, RDS/DynamoDB). ?Integrate Generative AI features into applications using frameworks and managed services. ?Build and optimize data access layers for relational and NoSQL databases. ?Ensure API security (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, secrets management) and compliance with best practices. ?Establish CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS). ?Implement observability: logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for production systems. ?Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions. Must-Have Skills: ?5?8 years of experience in backend development with Java (8+) and Spring Boot. ?Strong expertise in API design and development (REST/GraphQL). ?Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and RDS/DynamoDB. ?Database exposure: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB/DocumentDB). ?Proficiency in API security, authentication, and authorization standards. ?Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. ?Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance tuning. Preferred / Good-to-Have: ?Experience integrating Generative AI (LangChain, RAG patterns, vector databases). ?Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or Vertex AI. ?Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS). ?Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation). ?AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or equivalent). ?Performance testing and JVM tuning experience. Qualifications: ?Bachelor?s/master?s degree in computer science or related field. ?Strong problem-solving and communication skills. ?Ability to work in agile environments and collaborate across teams.
