Sr. WordPress Developer (Frontend + Backend)

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer (3–5 years experience) who can independently handle end-to-end WordPress development projects and also lead a team of developers.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience working with international clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (Frontend + Backend)
• Convert Figma designs into fully functional WordPress websites
• Lead and manage a team of developers, ensuring timely delivery and quality output
• Work on custom theme development and theme customization
• Develop and customize WordPress plugins (including custom plugin development)
• Optimize website performance using CSS & JavaScript compression tools
• Manage server & hosting environments, including:
• SSL setup
• Website backups
• Hosting configuration & migrations
• Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
• Perform malware removal and implement website security best practices
• Communicate with clients and manage tasks using project management tools
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of WordPress Core (Frontend & Backend)
• Expertise in Figma to WordPress website development
• Hands-on experience with:
• Popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
• Wide range of WordPress plugins
• Expertise in:
• Custom Plugin Development & Customization
• Custom Theme Development
• Proficiency in:
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• PHP & MySQL
• Experience with:
• Performance optimization (CSS/JS minification, caching)
• Website security & malware handling
• Hosting panels (cPanel, etc.)
Leadership & Communication:
• Ability to manage and lead a development team
• Experience in handling client communication (US & Australian clients preferred)
• Strong coordination skills using project management tools (Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Jira)
Bonus Points:
• Experience with Core Web Vitals optimization
• Knowledge of advanced WordPress security practices
