We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to lead the capture, definition, and governance of requirements related to our Data Processing & Operational Platform and its replacement programme.

This role will be responsible for translating complex operational workflows (e.g. data coding, data extraction, panel management) into clear, structured, and actionable business requirements and support the current platform to ensure ongoing operational use of the platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data and Operations) to ensure high-quality, consistent, and future-ready requirements aligned with programme goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements lifecycle (core focus):
• Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements
• Ensure requirements are outcome-driven and system-agnostic
• Define high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
• Drive alignment and sign-off on requirements and scope
• Define development requirements for the existing platform to ensure ongoing operational use.
• Capture AS-IS processes across the multiple platform domains
• Define TO-BE capabilities aligned to transformation objectives
• Bridge the gap between business and technical teams
• Establish and enforce requirements standards and documentation frameworks
• Ensure full traceability, auditability, and version control across requirements lifecycle
  
  

What You'll Bring to Numerator

Essential

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in data-led, platform-driven, or operational technology environments.
• Proven involvement in transformation or migration programmes, particularly those involving data pipelines, coding processes, reporting workflows, or other data-focused systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery methods, SDLC governance, and requirements documentation standards.

• Experience working with:
• Panel data / market research systems
• Data coding, taxonomy or product attribution processes
• Understanding of:
• Data quality frameworks and validation techniques
