Job Description

As a Supplier Dev Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will hold a critical role responsible for driving the optimization and improvement of our organization's supplier base. You will play a pivotal part in enhancing supplier performance, fostering innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to a dedicated team of supplier development engineers and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance their performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supplier processes and reduce costs
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and open communication
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Operations, to resolve supplierrelated issues and drive process improvements
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure a reliable and resilient supply chain
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supplier development and incorporate them into our processes
• Support new product development by collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely and successful product launches
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
