Job Title: Sr React / JavaScript Developer 6+ Years of experience Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Senior/Lead About the Role We are looking for a talented React / JavaScript Developer to join our front-end development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript technologies. You?ll collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver engaging, scalable, and responsive web applications. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain front-end components using React.js , JavaScript (ES6+) , HTML5 , and CSS3 / SCSS . Build reusable UI components and ensure consistency across web applications. Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend services. Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes into high-quality code. Participate in code reviews , contribute to architecture decisions, and follow best practices. Debug and fix issues, ensuring robust, maintainable, and secure code. Stay current with the latest front-end technologies, libraries, and tools. Willingness to overlap working hours in the evening/night for team meetings with offshore team. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) , React.js , and related tools such as React Hooks , Context API , and Redux . Deep understanding of HTML5 , CSS3 , and responsive design principles. Experience with frontend build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows. Good understanding of REST APIs , JSON , and asynchronous data handling . Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization techniques. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with TypeScript . Familiarity with Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks. Knowledge of GraphQL , TailwindCSS , or Material-UI . Experience integrating frontend with backend APIs (Node.js, Python, etc.). Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). Understanding of CI/CD pipelines , Docker , or cloud deployments (AWS, Azure) . Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and a focus on user experience. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and workflows.
