Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, and AI-based implementations for Banking/BFSI projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience testing enterprise banking applications, digital platforms, syndicated lending/IG syndicate systems, and AI-enabled solutions.

The candidate must possess deep knowledge of banking workflows, strong analytical capabilities, and experience working in Agile delivery environments while collaborating closely with business, development, data, and product teams.

Experience in IG Syndicate / Loan Syndication platforms, Corporate Banking workflows, and AI-driven automation projects will be a strong advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesCore QA Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end QA activities for Banking and BFSI applications
Perform Manual Testing across functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT phases
Design, develop, review, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and automation scripts
Develop and execute Automation Test Scripts using Selenium/TestNG or similar frameworks
Validate APIs and integration services using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools
Conduct database validation and backend testing using SQL queries
Ensure quality assurance processes and testing standards are followed across releases
Identify, log, track, and manage defects using Jira/ALM/Zephyr or similar tools
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, QA estimations, and release planning
Support production validation, deployment testing, and post-release verification
Prepare QA dashboards, defect reports, status updates, and testing metrics
Mentor junior QA team members and support automation best practices

AI Implementation & AI Project Responsibilities

Participate in testing of AI/ML-based applications and AI-driven solutions
Validate AI model outputs, workflows, and system integrations
Support testing of:
AI-based decision engines (e.g., credit scoring, risk scoring)
Intelligent automation solutions
Chatbots / Virtual Assistants
Document processing / OCR-based AI systems
Generative AI / LLM-based applications (if applicable)
Perform data validation for AI models (training, testing, and inference data)
Validate AI pipelines integrated with enterprise systems
Collaborate with Data Science / AI teams for:
Model validation support
Bias testing and edge-case validation
Functional validation of AI workflows
Test AI-enabled APIs and microservices
Support validation of AI integrations within Banking platforms
Contribute to automation of testing using AI-assisted tools where applicable
Experience in AI-driven test automation frameworks is an added advantage

Required Skills & Experience

8–10 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing
Mandatory experience in Banking / BFSI domain projects
Strong experience in Corporate Banking, Lending, Payments, or Syndicated Loan platforms
Experience in AI/ML project testing or AI implementation support
Experience working on IG Syndicate / Loan Syndication applications (preferred)
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
Hands-on experience with:
Selenium WebDriver
TestNG / JUnit
Java or Python basics
API Testing using Postman/Swagger
SQL / Database Testing
Experience in Agile / Scrum delivery model
Strong understanding of banking business processes and financial systems
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools like Jira, ALM, Zephyr
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
