Role Description Wesco is seeking a full-time remote Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain back-end systems and software products. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and managing databases to optimize performance and reliability. The Senior Python Developer will ensure consistent code quality, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to system architecture and development best practices. Qualifications Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming principles Experience working with Databases for optimized, scalable data storage and management Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote role Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous Technical Specs Handle processing different file formats like Delta, Parque Experience with Spark and spark python libraries Spark fine tuning Connect with different data sources. High understanding of pandas and spark data frames. Performance optimization of large data sets and parallel processing Handling missing values,? Outlier detection and treatment,? Dealing with duplicates,? Addressing inconsistencies,? Normalization and standardization,? Encoding? Familraization with wheels and pyhton packages. Create reusable python libraries. Handle exceptions and error processing.
