Job Summary

Senior Application Security Engineer

Responsible for strengthening the security posture of enterprise applications by driving Secure SDLC practices, vulnerability management, security assessments, and security automation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Perform application security assessments, secure code reviews, and vulnerability analysis across multiple products and services.

Identify and support remediation of critical security vulnerabilities, including SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), OWASP Top 10 risks, and potential PII/data exposure scenarios.

Drive Secure SDLC adoption by partnering with development teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Act as a key liaison between Product Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Information Security teams, facilitating risk management, security governance, and secure solution delivery.

Collaborate with engineering leads and architects to prioritize remediation efforts and implement secure coding best practices.

Contribute to security automation, platform security initiatives, and continuous improvement of security processes and controls.

Leverage expertise in Java, AWS, Microservices, and cloud-native architectures to deliver scalable and developer-friendly security solutions.

Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate security analysis, code review, and engineering productivity.
