About The Company Tata Communications Redefines Connectivity with Innovation and IntelligenceDriving the next level of intelligence powered by Cloud, Mobility, Internet of Things, Collaboration, Security, Media services and Network services, we at Tata Communications are envisaging a New World of Communications Perform network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Conduct security assessments on firewalls, VPN, routers, switches, IDS/IPS, wireless networks, and other infrastructure components. Perform external and internal infrastructure scanning using tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Hydra, and Wireshark. Identify and validate vulnerabilities such as misconfigurations, missing patches, insecure protocols, weak authentication mechanisms, and exposure risks. Document findings with clear technical evidence, risk ratings, and remediation guidance. Work with IT and network teams to track vulnerability closure and retesting. Map findings to frameworks like OWASP, CVE, CWE, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK. Assist in improving security baseline, hardened configuration standards, and security policies. Stay updated with emerging cyber threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, attack tactics, and red-team techniques. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in Network Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. Strong understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, VLANs, VPN, IPSec, SSL/TLS, DHCP, routing, NAT, ports & protocols. Experience with VAPT tools (any of the following): Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS Nmap, Nikto Metasploit, John the Ripper, Hydra Wireshark, Burp Suite (optional) Familiarity with Linux and Windows command-line environments.
