Virbhu India Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of AK Power Solution (USA), operating in the field of power electronics. The positions will be involved in new product development, supporting the design and launch of Virbhu India Pvt Ltd.'s next generation of cutting-edge products. Education: BE / BTech Electrical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 10+ years in design and estimation, particularly in electrical manufacturing- Compact Substation and Package Substation. We are looking for a seasoned Sr. Electrical Engineer with expertise in Electrical Manufacturing, specializing in CSS, PCC, MCC, IMCC, APDFC, VFDs, LV Panels, and Switchgear. The ideal candidate will excel in mechanical product design, value engineering, and optimizing product designs while adhering to international standards like IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and IS. The role involves leading activities such as customer-focused design, procurement BOM preparation, new product development (NPD), product benchmarking, and process optimization, ensuring innovative and cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: Electrical Integration: Design electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, layouts, and perform load calculations and fault current analysis using ETAP and EPLAN. BOM & Procurement Planning: Prepare accurate procurement BOMs, collaborate with procurement teams to optimize costs and ensure material compliance. New Product Development (NPD): Lead NPD initiatives, benchmark designs against industry standards, and enhance product performance through reverse engineering and cost-efficiency analysis. Value Engineering & Optimization: Apply value analysis and engineering principles to optimize designs and reduce costs, streamline production, and enhance scalability. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare detailed design documentation, ensure compliance with international standards like IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and IS. Customer Interaction: Engage with clients to gather design requirements, present design concepts, and provide technical support.
