Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in AI/ML model development , data-driven business insights , and a working understanding of Blockchain applications in supply chain and data integrity. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in applying machine learning, predictive analytics, and advanced statistical modeling to solve business challenges in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector. Key Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning and AI models to optimize business processes, demand forecasting, and customer insights within the FMCG industry. Work closely with marketing, supply chain, sales, and finance teams to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making. Design and implement predictive analytics solutions using large and complex datasets from multiple sources (sales, consumer behavior, logistics, etc.). Apply Blockchain technology to enhance data transparency, traceability, and authenticity within the FMCG supply chain. Develop and maintain data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various internal and external data sources. Implement and optimize deep learning algorithms , NLP models , or computer vision applications where relevant. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and measurable results. Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through dashboards, visualizations, and presentations. Stay updated with emerging technologies in AI/ML, Blockchain, and Data Engineering to drive innovation in the FMCG domain. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field . 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI roles. Strong proficiency in Python , R , or Scala for data analysis and model development. Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and XGBoost. Proven experience in statistical modeling , predictive analytics , and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Solid understanding of Blockchain concepts (smart contracts, distributed ledgers, Hyperledger, Ethereum, etc.) and practical exposure to Blockchain-based applications in supply chain or data security. Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for model deployment. Experience working with large-scale FMCG datasets ? including sales, inventory, consumer behavior, and supply chain data. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge in Machine Learning , AI , or Blockchain technologies. Prior experience in FMCG analytics , retail intelligence , or consumer insights modeling . Understanding of data governance , data ethics , and regulatory compliance within the FMCG industry. Key Deliverables End-to-end AI/ML model development and deployment pipelines. Predictive dashboards and insights supporting FMCG business units. Blockchain-enabled proof-of-concept for supply chain transparency. Continuous improvement of data models based on evolving business requirements.
