Role Description

We are looking for Sr. C++ Developer. You will report to Director of Core Software, Broadband business unit.

Location

Hybrid role – working at 3-4 days a week from our office in Bangalore.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will join one of our global software Scrum teams. You will contribute to the development of next-generation cable industry-leading products, services, and systems for Harmonic. This position involves C/C++ development in advanced technologies, including containerized solutions (Kubernetes) and various networking environments, all running on Linux servers.

As part of the role, you will be involved in the following areas:

• Develop C/C++ code in the MAC and upper layer protocol domain, contributing to cutting-edge features as part of the R&D team.
• Investigate and debug complex issues reported by Harmonic QA and various customers.
• Plan and execute tasks in an Agile development environment.
  
  

What You Will Need To Succeed

• A minimum of 7 years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Proven expertise in networking systems and a deep understanding of network protocols.
• Experience with DOCSIS (highly desirable)
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Kubernetes (highly desirable).
