Responsibilities Responsible for implementing features and functionality into an application or website, as well as maintaining its performance over time Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to maintain high code quality standards. Be capable of independently owning individual projects while also collaborating effectively within a team. Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems. Identify and troubleshoot issues as they arise, resolving them promptly. Optimize the performance and scalability of backend systems to ensure efficient operation. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure fast and efficient system operation. Develop automated tests to meet client requirements and enable regression testing. Build and maintain RESTful APIs, including database schema design and queries. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments relevant to backend development. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for backend systems and APIs. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Proven experience as a Back End Engineer, with some professional experience Knowledge of GIT or any other version control software Knowledge of responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility Extensive knowledge of fonts, embedding from third parties like Google, Typekit & Font Deck, etc Solid understanding of web development, performance and accessibility standards, coding principles, tools, and best practices Familiarity Passion and follow through for their work.
