What IT Quality Control Contributes To Cardinal Health Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value. Quality Control analyzes and inspects Information Technology products and processes for compliance to internal and external specifications and standards. This job family collaborates with IT Project Management, Business Integration, and Application Development & Maintenance teams, among others, during implementation and integration projects to proactively identify compliance requirements and risks. Quality Control also conducts regular audits and develops and communicates new quality control procedures for the function. What is expected of you and others at this level Ability to perform functional testing, smoke testing, performance, load testing, security testing, API testing and end-to-end testing Execute both manual and automated test scripts. Code and implement automated tests using specialized software platforms Communicate with stakeholders to understand and clarify software requirements Analyze test results to predict user behavior, identify bugs, and suggest solutions to minimize problems Work closely with product development and development teams to ensure timely delivery of the project Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Keep track of quality metrics Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities Verify that the final product meets the requirement Analyze product features and suggest changes to enhance them to make them more efficient and user friendly Stay up to date with the latest industry developments, standards, and regulations Use agile workflows using project management tools Understand quality assurance management tools Qualifications 3-4 years of experience, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred Strong knowledge of software QA Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases Strong experience with automated testing tools Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting methodologies, tools, and processes Good Understand functional testing, smoke testing, performance, load testing, security testing, API testing and end-to-end testing Experience in web technologies, software development and testing using programming languages Experience in working with various testing tools Experience in software development testing & software quality assurance Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Strong communication skills, both written and spoken Beware of online recruitment scams Recruitment scams are being run by individuals that are not affiliated with Cardinal Health.
