Sr. Accountant

Role Overview:

Most accounting roles are about entries, vouchers, and closing books. This one is about owning compliance, contracts, and financial control. At Saras AI Institute, we’re scaling fast and we need a Senior Accountant who can bring structure, accuracy, and sharp financial thinking into our operations.

This role is for you if:

• You’ve handled GST, TDS, and end-to-end statutory compliance

• You don’t just process invoices you question them

• You have experience reviewing vendor agreements, payment terms & cost structures

• You can identify financial risks in contracts before they hit the books

• You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

What you’ll own:

• Monthly financial closing & reporting

• GST, TDS & statutory preparation (India)

• Accounts payable & receivable management

• Vendor agreement verification (commercial terms, pricing, payment clauses)

• Invoice validation & reconciliation

• Audit coordination & compliance readiness

• Strengthening financial controls & processes

What we’re looking for:

• 4–5 years of accounting experience

• Strong hands-on expertise in compliance + audits

• Experience in vendor/contract validation

• High attention to detail (you catch what others miss)

• Ownership mindset - you take responsibility, not just tasks
