Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 5 to 9 years of experience in database administration and domain expertise in Cards & Payments. The ideal candidate will excel in managing MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server environments. This hybrid role requires a proactive approach to ensure seamless database operations contributing to the companys mission of enhancing financial services. Responsibilities Manage and maintain MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and performance. Implement database changes and apply new patches and versions when required. Monitor database performance and optimize queries to enhance system efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment. Ensure data integrity and security across all database platforms. Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime. Document database configurations processes and procedures for future reference. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Participate in capacity planning and scaling of database infrastructure. Analyze and report on database performance metrics to inform decision-making. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management. Qualifications Possess strong expertise in MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server administration. Demonstrate experience in the Cards & Payments domain. Exhibit proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization. Show capability in developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies. Have a solid understanding of data security and integrity principles. Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
