Job Title: SQL Server DBA – Azure Cloud & DevOps

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our team at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL Server Database Administration, Azure Cloud, and DevOps, with hands-on experience in managing mission-critical database environments, automation, and cloud-based infrastructure.

• 7+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator.
• Strong experience in SQL Server installation, configuration, administration, and upgrades.
• Experience in Azure Cloud services related to SQL Server.
• Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.
• Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
• Experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, Replication, Log Shipping, and Clustering.
• Hands-on experience with database security, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of PowerShell or scripting for automation.
• Experience working in production support environments with incident management.
• Strong understanding of database migration from on-premises to Azure.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Administer and maintain SQL Server databases in on-premises and Azure environments.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations.
• Design and maintain backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Automate database deployment and maintenance using DevOps tools.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for database changes.
• Perform database migrations and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure database availability.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud engineering teams.
• Ensure database security, compliance, and governance standards are maintained.
