To know more please visit: http://www.everestdx.com Job Title: SQL Developer Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office) Experience: 5?12 Years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SQL/PLSQL Developer with a strong background in database development, performance tuning, and enterprise-scale application support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Oracle databases, optimizing SQL queries, developing complex PL/SQL programs, and supporting large-scale data-driven applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers , and other database objects. Write and optimize complex SQL queries , ensuring high performance and efficiency. Perform performance tuning of SQL and PL/SQL code, queries, indexes, and database structures. Work on Oracle 11g/12c/19c features including collections, ref cursors, bulk operations, objects, and XML/JSON handling. Develop and maintain data migration scripts , ETL logic, and integration workflows. Analyze and troubleshoot database issues , performance bottlenecks, and system-level problems. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to transform business requirements into technical design specifications . Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and security guidelines. Support existing business applications by providing debugging, root-cause analysis, and timely resolution of issues. Work with tools such as TOAD, SQL Developer , and version control systems. (Optional based on your requirements) Experience with Cassandra, Pentaho, or Shell Scripting for automation and integration tasks. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL development . Strong knowledge of DDL, DML, TCL , joins, indexing, and relational database design. Expertise in developing packages, procedures, triggers, collections, exception handling, loops, and flow control . Proven experience in SQL & PL/SQL performance tuning . Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Experience with ETL/data migration , batch processes, or integration workflows. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
