Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Developer with deep expertise in query development, optimization, and large-scale database performance tuning. The ideal candidate excels in analytical thinking, understands relational database internals, and can work closely with application teams to ensure high-performing, reliable systems. Key Responsibilities Query Development & Optimization: Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Performance Analysis: Review existing queries and database structures to identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements. Database Design: Develop and maintain logical and physical data models for both transactional and analytical environments. Data Integrity & Security: Ensure data consistency, integrity, and adherence to security best practices. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to query performance, deadlocks, and inefficient indexing. Cross-Team Collaboration : Partner with application developers and architects to align backend and database performance. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for schemas, queries, tuning steps, and architectural decisions. Required Skills & Qualifications 8?15 years of hands-on experience in SQL development and performance tuning Expert-level proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent) Strong understanding of execution plans, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques Experience with major RDBMS platforms (SQL Server, MySQL) Solid understanding of data modeling, normalization, and ETL workflows Familiarity with performance monitoring tools ( SQL Profiler, Explain Plan, etc. ) Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities If you're passionate about designing high-impact backend systems and want to build with a company that values engineering excellence, we?d love to hear from you. ??
